At very low temperatures, electric vehicles lose some of their autonomy. Cold batteries can't charge as quickly or hold their charge as long. Tips for EV charging in cold weather

  • Battery conditioning It means that you can preheat the battery and passenger cabin at a preset time. In this way, your car batteries will be warmed up to work more efficiently.   • Extra energy When it's cold outside, your BMS keeps a percentage of your battery's power in reserve to warm itself up. If you get stuck out in the cold due to an accident, a road closure, or any other event that can hold you up. You can then, for example, keep your car warmer for longer or use it to charge your phone if required.
